Thinking Reeds provides a comprehensive math and science program for homeschoolers of all ages in Plano, Texas, and surrounding areas.  High school students meet once per week for classroom instruction and lab, complete web based homework assignments and exams at home.  Students receive a high quality math and science education, taught from a Christian world view, that will leave them well prepared for any college program.  Younger Thinking Reeds students have fun learning through experimentation the order and beauty in creation that could only have come from God's infinitely creative mind.

NEW for 2008-2009:
All Math classes will feature one online video lecture per week, taught by Dr. Reid, to enhance in-class learning.  Homework help will also be available through regularly scheduled online "chat" based study halls.

Weekly hands-on science classes for elementary students grades K-3 and 4-6.  All original content, always fun and engaging.  Upper level elementary program includes optional online reading and homework option with automated grading.

Thinking Reeds highly recommends Dana Tillman's World View Classes in McKinney.  In addition to Cornerstone Curriculum's popular World Views of the Western World, students learn public speaking, debate, church history, philosophy, literature, current events, and so much more!  Many resources are available online via subscription.  See  www.WorldViewClasses.com.

Workshop Update:
All sessions are full for our May workshop entitled, "Nuclear Chemistry for Beginners".   Students are having an explosive time learning about half-lives, chain reactions, and more!  Please email if you would like to be added to a waitllist for a possible class on Wednesday, May 28th from 1:30 to 3:00 PM.  The workshop is recommended for students in grades K-6.  Cost is $5/child.
